Customer Support Specialist

Position Summary

Virtuous Software is a technology start-up building software to help nonprofits create more good in the world.

The Customer Support Specialist position will be responsible for driving Virtuous customer happiness. As part of this job a qualified candidate will:

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed training and implementation help to our amazing nonprofits
  • Provide data mapping and extraction services during the implementation process
  • Build account retention by being an ongoing trusted advisor and fundraising consultant to each of your assigned nonprofits
  • Work closely with our sales team to create new business through new product adoption
  • Work with our content team to build valuable content and resources for our clients and potential clients

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience working in a client support, product training, account management, and/or data processing role. Some knowledge of software development, general support, and client onboarding processes
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible start-up environment
  • A fervent passion for wearing jeans and/or t-shirts to work with a strong preference for wearing both
  • Experience driving to revenue and client satisfaction goals
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Fluency in the world of blogs, social media and common web-based tools
  • Knowledge of nonprofit organizations with a desire to quickly learn about the nonprofit fundraising space
  • Clear and articulate communication skills and the ability successfully make a phone call to ANY phone number
  • Comfort with data and spreadsheets. Lots and lots of data
  • Knowledge of SQL or data analytics tools like Tableau a plus
  • Phenomenal organizational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Dang it! We already said that
