Customer Account Manager


Position Summary

Virtuous Software is looking for a Customer Account Manager to join its growing Sales Team. Virtuous is the nonprofit CRM and Marketing Automation system helping nonprofits raise more money and do more good in the world. If hired, you will be joining the founding sales team at one of Phoenix’s fastest growing tech startups. You will work in our downtown Phoenix offices and report to our VP of Sales. You’ll also work closely with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to help maximize our growth. Your responsibilities will include selling upgrades and add-ons to our current customers and working on renewals of annual contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Use your skills and talents to sell other products to current customers
  • Facilitate and sell annual renewals when customers contracts come due
  • Perform Executive Business Reviews with customers to identify areas of opportunity
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Perform high-quality and personalized outbound calls and emails
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to understand potential sales chances
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations with potential prospects
  • Act as a subject matter expert in our product and services
  • Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle
  • Use professionalism in phone, email, chat, or any other internal or external communication
  • Continually work to improve oneself both personally and professionally
  • Embody and uphold Virtuous culture both internally and externally
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Be coachable with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Metrics oriented with a competitive attitude
  • Strong experience in sales and specifically B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience working with CRMs, email marketing, and other cloud software
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the nonprofit industry is a plus
  • Prior Customer Service Experience is a plus
